My career as an Apple Technical Support Professional began in 2005 after selling Impact Lighting and Production, a business that I and my business partner, Terry Ohm  built for over 20 years.  Although production lighting and technical support may seem to be quite different fields, my beliefs about technology are at the center of both; that technology can be used to empower the individual. Both through information gathering and as a creative means to foster collaboration within organizations.

While I really enjoy working with computers, it’s not everything, some of my other interests include:
•I facilitate Digital Storytelling Workshops with The Center For Digital Storytelling.
•I volunteer in at
Options Recovery Services, a drug and alcohol court diversion program leading meditation instruction.
•I’m a member of the leadership for the East Bay Macintosh User Group (
EBMUG)
•I love riding my bike whenever I can. If I must drive, it’s a 2006 VW Jetta TDI that runs on BioDiesel.  I fuel up at the
BioFuel Oasis.
•I am learning the art of
VJing, that’s mixing still and animated video images to music.
•I enjoy cooking in the kitchen and on the grill for my wife Jacki and on occasion, our friends.
• And of course my annual pilgrimage to
Burning Man
